The Dutch composer, known for his numerous works for wind orchestra and fanfare orchestra, has created a piece with "WesternRapsody" that takes both musicians and listeners into the rough, adventurous world of the Wild West. "WesternRapsody" is structured in several thematic sections, each representing different aspects and moods of western life. The composition combines elements of traditional western music with modern orchestral techniques to create a varied and exciting listening experience. The introduction of the piece begins mysteriously with powerful fanfares and moves into a lyrical part that immediately evokes a feeling of vastness and adventure.
