Additional info/contents	Urban Scenes was commissioned by R. J. Metteer and the Lenox (Iowa) Junior High School Honor Band and premiered in 1993. It is also intended to be a didactic play and contains great contrasts in the use of harmonic language as well as an introduction to advanced techniques such as singing and aleatoric.
