Additional info/contents	Konzertante Festsonate (Nun danket alle Gott) Nach der Einleitung beginnt ein 'edler Wettstreit' zwischen dem Soloquartett und der ganzen Blaskapelle. Das Werk steht in der klassischen Sonatenform und ist so gemacht, dass das Hauptthema zusammen mit dem Choral 'Nun danket alle Gott' gespielt werden kann, in den das Stück einmündet. Der Choral klingt schon vorher einmal an ('von Kindesbeinen an..'). Der Sonatenform entsprechend folgt dem Hauptthema später ein Seitenthema, dann die Durchführung und schliesslich die Reprise mit Hauptthema, Seitenthema und Choral.
