Additional info/contents	These chorales are based on Lutheran hymns that were used on the occasion of various religious ceremonies. The themes, composed by Luther himself, are identical to those used by J.S. Bach in his chorales. In the present work, the harmonisation has been completely rethought stylistically and the movement - in contrast to Bach's four-part writing - is in five parts. This makes the pieces ideal for variable instrumental scoring.
