Additional info/contents The "Vox Stellarum Symphony” is a project first conceived by the composer in 2003, and was finally completed 10 years later for the first complete performance in April 2012. "Vox Stellarum”, latin for "voice of the spheres,” is a reflection of mankind and how our pursuit for power, affluence and property has led to devastating results on our planet. The most important inspiration behind this work are two pictures the composer has seen. Both are photographs of Earth--one in 1970, and one in 2002-- and a huge difference could be seen, with the latter one being less green and beautiful than the former.

The symphony is in four parts, and begins with "Overture to Vox Stellarum,” which highlights the start of our journey into space for discovering the beauty of our world. The second movement, "Warrior's Dream,” is an extended prayer for world peace, paving the way for a utopia of bliss and harmony. In the next movement, all musicians put down their instruments in exchange for stones to perform "Gaia's Wrath,” in a symbolic gesture representing the demise of technology from war, back into the dark ages. "Journey's End,” the last movement of the symphony, is in two broad sections-- a rondo and an epilogue-- describing the last struggle of mankind and the possible discovery of a new home on another planet, since the natural resources on Earth are almost fully depleted.

All four movements of the symphony can be performed individually. The symphony can be ordered as a complete set, and every movement is also available separately. The symphony is dedicated to the memory of a world without war.

In a distant time, in a land torn by wars and conflicts, there lived a brave warrior. This man was of impressive strength and courage, but his heart yearned for an end to the bloodshed and for peace for his people and the world.

In the quiet hours of the night, when the sky was lit by the stars, the warrior prayed to the gods for a better future. He dreamed of a world where swords became plowshares, where people of all nations lived hand in hand in harmony and brotherhood.

One night, as the warrior lay under the vast sky and watched the stars, a deep sleep came over him. In his dream, he found himself in an idyllic landscape where gentle streams flowed through lush forests and the air was filled with peace and love. In this dream world, the warrior met people from all corners of the earth. They had all come to unite under one banner of the white dove, to strive for peace together. There were no borders, no prejudices and no hostilities. Instead, there was an atmosphere of respect, kindness and understanding. In his dream, the warrior heard the voices of children laughing and playing, free from fear and worry. He saw people dancing hand in hand and singing songs of joy and hope together. The sun shone over this utopian world, and its light lit up people's hearts.

When the warrior awoke, he felt a deep calm and serenity within him. The warrior's dream had shown him that the desire for peace and harmony was not an illusion, but an achievable goal if people would come together and open their hearts for the good of all. From that day on, the warrior worked tirelessly for world peace. He spoke to the rulers and the common people, he inspired the masses with his vision of a better world. His prayer for world peace became a living call that touched the hearts of people around the world and moved them to work for a future full of happiness and harmony.

So the warrior's dream became a powerful message of hope and change that changed the world forever and the power of humanity triumphed over the darkness of war.
