In the Symphonic Poem L'Ultimo Burattino, the author, through the music, wanted to propose the story of Pinocchio, the world's most famous tale and a classic in children's literature, which is nothing but a metaphor of life, with its temptations, broken promises, and friendships sometimes true and sometimes false, but all are part of the one great plan of destiny. The various moments are represented by the music which very well describes the various situations in which the protagonist is, from sweet and expressive moments as the theme of the Fairy with Turquoise Hair or The Talking Cricket, and other highly dramatic as the theme of the Fire Eater and the Whale, all united by a common thread: the voice of the narrator. Basato sulla fiaba Pinocchio di Collodi Nel poema sinfonico l'Ultimo Burattino, l'autore, attraverso la musica, ha voluto riproporre i momenti salienti di Pinocchio, la fiaba più nota al mondo, che altro non è che la metafora della vita, con le sue tentazioni, le sue promesse non mantenute, le sue amicizie a volte vere ed a volte false, ma tutto facenti parte dell'unico grande disegno del destino. I vari momenti sono ottimamente rappresentati dalla musica che descrive in maniera mirabile le varie situazioni in cui si trova il protagonista, passando da momenti dolci ed espressivi come il Tema della Fatina o Del Grillo, ed altri altamente drammatici come il Tema del Mangiafuoco e della Balena, il tutto unito da un filo conduttore che è la voce del narratore.
