Brief description	The Scottish acoustic guitarist and eternal insider tip John Goldie is no stranger to the guitar scene. You can often see him in smaller jazz line-ups, for example with Martin Taylor. Jazz and folk are apparently his musical foundations. That he also feels at home in rock and pop music is not only shown by his instructional videos about rock classics. With the current CD "A Little Of What You Fancy" he goes back musically to his youth and plays arrangements from Johnny Cash and the Disco Queen to Abba and George Harrison. Some people might frown and wonder what's up with the otherwise likeable Scotsmen. But it fits, fits together wonderfully, and you wonder why disco music hasn't always been played on the acoustic guitar. With his new album, John Goldie once again provides an example of how versatile our favourite instrument can be.
