Additional info/contents	The Symphonic Prelude in C minor is an orchestral composition from the circle of the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The reception history of this work, discovered shortly after the Second World War, is complex and led to the attribution of a secondary orchestrated version to Gustav Mahler, an attribution that continues to dominate musical practice, even though the composition most likely originated with Bruckner himself. Bruckner's student Rudolf Krzyzanowski (1895–1911) transcribed the score as a manuscript in 1876. The 43-page manuscript bears the name Rudolf Krzyzanowski cop. 1876 on the first page; on the reverse of the end, written in blue pencil, is: By Anton Bruckner.
