The following section unfolds a mysterious, slow sequence, inspired by the ancient oak trees surrounding the castle. An interlude featuring the traditional Bubendorf song follows, gradually leading into a rhythmically striking section. This section musically depicts the political context of the Rütli Meadow in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, vividly portraying the discussions and conflicts that took place there. This section quickly transforms into a rock-infused, contemporary style that explores the tension between history and modernity. Finally, the work reaches a magnificent finale, marking the climax of the musical journey and returning to the initial castle theme. The finale unites past and present, and the music culminates in a powerful conclusion that impressively celebrates the splendor and history of Wildenstein Castle.
