Additional info/contents	ADORATION was composed for the Ochlenberg Trombone Choir in September/October 2021. The piece celebrates the ensemble's achievements and is also a tribute to the Christian faith of many of its members. The ensemble itself selected three Christian melodies and presented them to the composer as a commissioned work. After the rousing opening sounds, which incorporate various melodic elements, the music transitions into a setting of "Lord I Lift Your Name on High," featuring reggae elements and uplifting rhythmic sounds. The piece then shifts to the more tranquil mood of "Hosanna in the Highest," which may be new to some. It is an artfully crafted and inspiring song by Brooke Lingertwood. The score attempts to reflect these moods in the ensemble's instrumentation and harmony. The piece concludes with a musical setting of "The Lord bless you and keep you"—a text often used as a blessing prayer and found in the Bible (Numbers 6:24–26). This particular arrangement was written and performed by various Christian artists who collaborated during the 2020 lockdown.
