Additional info/contents	"El Condor Pasa" is a folk song and instrumental piece composed by the Peruvian composer Daniel Alomía Robles (1871-1942) for his zarzuela of the same name in 1913, based on an older Peruvian folk song. The melody has various Peruvian lyrics, but it is usually performed instrumentally. An English-language version by Simon & Garfunkel in 1970 made it internationally famous. The original goes back to an 18th-century Peruvian folk song.
