Additional info/contents	Commissioned by the Diputación de Valencia as a compulsory piece for the 2nd Division of the 47th Valencia Wind Band Contest, held in 2024. Symphonic Suite for Wind Band with Valencian Folk Songs Valencian folk music, which has its origins in popular music and has been transmitted orally, is a constant element of the cultural and artistic heritage of humanity. A legacy of ancient traditions. So much so that it has inspired, as a source material, a large number of the so-called classical music composers. The author has written this suite of three movements that includes some of the most representative melodies and gives them a new function in the modern social and cultural context of Valencia.
