Additional info/contents	The world-famous, impressive Niagara Falls are located between Buffalo/USA and Toronto/Canada, between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. One of the tourist attractions there is a boat trip with the "Maid of the Mist" into the spray and waves under the falls. In sunny weather, an impressive rainbow shines in the water drops of the spray. This literally turns the waterfalls into rainbow falls. On a trip to Canada, Hans Bernd Zimmermann was able to experience this image, which inspired him to compose "Rainbow Falls". In various parts, the composer depicts the different facets of this experience - from calm waves, musically softly drawn, to bubbling melodic lines to the majestic image of the "Rainbow Falls". Designed as a concert work for intermediate orchestra, you will be taken on a trip to Canada that you will not soon forget.
