Additional info/contents	"A journey to the West" is inspired by the stories and legends of the Wild West. Inspired by the many soundtracks and feature films on the subject, mainly cartoons and animated films, the composer tells his own story here in The piece "A journey to the west" tells the story of the bravery, courage but also the innocence of a hero in spite of himself. After a baroque and majestic opening imposing on us the atmosphere of this typical American setting, a rapid gallop of bass and percussion brings us the theme of our hero. Lively, light, carefree, it makes the horns and saxophones roar, then taken up by the woodwinds and trumpets. If the melody is light, the atmosphere quickly becomes heavier, a shadow flies over the city! Let's be careful! After this introduction, the hero begins his day calmly on horseback (clarinet and bassoon duet), before escaping into his romantic and lyrical thoughts (tutti cantabile) but he will quickly be brought back to reality. The shadow that lurks becomes more and more thoughtful (low brass), our hero finds himself facing his terrible enemy, a merciless fight begins! A ternary rhythm balanced on percussion punctuates this terrible confrontation, which will end in an epic way towards a victorious outcome and as imagined by our hero in his wildest dreams (return of the lyrical theme)! The hero's return is made to the sounds of the horns which announce his arrival in town. The return of the main theme, always so cheerful, as well as our beautiful story will end in apotheosis before concluding with humor and lightness: "The End".
