Additional info/contents Soaring with the Eagles takes you on a flight through the eyes of an eagle. There are three main sections, each with its own main theme: The Eagle Theme, the Invisible Beauty Theme, and finally the Soaring Theme.
- The opening section with the Eagle Theme represents the eagle itself with a powerful, majestic melody that is heard at the beginning and end of the piece.
- The second section with the Invisible Beauty Theme is preceded by a brief transition to a slower tempo. The theme is first heard with a flute solo that represents the rarely seen eagle with the thin texture in the music. Once the full band suddenly joins in, the theme is played once again in a full band setting, reminding us that seeing an eagle is a beautiful, majestic experience.
- The final section with the Soaring Theme finally takes you on a flight from an eagle's perspective. Imagine flying on the wings of an eagle over a beautiful mountain range as the melody soars over the ostinato accompaniment, and landing on the highest peak while enjoying the sunset. The eagle theme is reprised at the end and the majestic bird disappears over the horizon.
