The work has a solemn and majestic character, similar to a hymn. It begins with a brief introduction of the main motif along with the (optional) chorus. Then there is a short transition without the choir, before finally singing the main theme again, this time majestically, together with the (optional) choir and with small variations, with new rhythmic motifs in brass and percussion, among others.
