I Fanfare 'Awakening of the Dawn' The fanfare begins with the motivic idea of the opening of "Daybreak and Sunrise" by the late Singaporean composer Leong Yoon Pin, Singapore's first commissioned work by the Singapore Youth Festival Indoor Band Central Judging in 1992. The motif is an important milestone in Singapore's band history and is used as the main melody used for this opening sentence to symbolize the beginning of our Singaporean dreams.
