Additional info/contents	Fanfare for an Occasion was written to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Anglo Music Press, the publishing house dedicated to the works of British composer Philip Sparke. It is a radiant and festive work in which the main theme begins in the tenor instruments of the orchestra before being imitated canonically by all the instrumental groups in turn. A short, repetitive transition leads to a second theme in the saxophones. This is taken up by the entire orchestra and, with the main theme and the repetition of the second theme, leads to the brilliant conclusion of the fanfare.
