Additional info/contents Two boys from Felanitx on Mallorca: Pere Obrador and Miquel Angel Cerda. After leaving school, one stays on the island while the other goes to study in Madrid. After a few years, Miquel decides to return because he suffers from homesickness and misses the sea. The year 1994 marks a big change in the lives of both brothers. They realise their dream by producing their first own wine. Their vision is to create a true "Balearic wine" from indigenous grape varieties such as Callet, Mantonegro and Fogoneu. Anima Negra captures all of Mallorca in a glass of wine, so to speak: Reflecting the sun, the salinity of the soils and the energy of this island, the wine has conquered the whole world.

Programme notes *: additional text

Anima Negra is a popular red wine produced in the Mallorca region of Spain. The name "Anima Negra" means "black soul" in Catalan, and it reflects the deep, rich color and full-bodied flavor of the wine. The wine is made from a blend of local grape varieties, including Callet, Mantonegro, and Fogoneu. These grapes are grown on the rugged, rocky terrain of the island, which gives the wine its unique character and complexity.

Anima Negra is known for its intense aromas of black fruit, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a long, lingering finish. It pairs well with hearty meat dishes, stews, and aged cheeses. The wine has gained a loyal following among wine enthusiasts and has received numerous awards and accolades over the years.
