Additional info/contents	Today, Voestalpine is a company specializing in technology and industrial goods. It was founded almost 150 years ago and has played an important role in the steel and iron industries throughout its history. The company is showing an impressive “Contemporary History Exhibition 1938-1945” to commemorate the victims of National Socialist forced labor in the factory during the Second World War. “Iron Ring” refers to the company logo from that time. The work is a kind of symphonic poem that describes various aspects of the company's history in four musical scenes. It is a dramatic, breathtaking and impressive piece of music that leaves no one untouched. The piece also features several impressive cello solos.
