Additional info/contents	"High Spirits" is a catchy three-part work. The melodic theme in the fast first section is introduced by euphonium, horn and tenor saxophone in 5/4 time and taken over by the tutti. After a second theme in 4/4 time a varied recapitulation leads to the slow middle section. The cantabile theme is introduced by flutes and led through the different registers. A fast part, which takes up the main theme again, ends the piece. No particularities in terms of instrumentation.
