1th movement: Awakening of the castle spirits at 11:29 p.m.
Aroused by a pelvic crash at 11:29 pm, the sleepy young castle spirits - those who are not yet 104 years old - yawn at each other and think more of sleeping on than of the ghost parade taking place at midnight. However, a rumble and rumble finally shakes them out of their ghost beds and they hectically start to bring order into their confusion. Just in time, just before the bells ring in the castle ghost parade, they stand taut and finely dressed in a row ready for the parade.

2nd movement: Castle Ghost Parade
In the festive procession and full of anticipation of the forthcoming festival, we now walk along the brightly lit corridors to the festively decorated festival hall of the castle. Once there, the first thing to be danced is in accordance with the "March Grotesque" ritual, which only spirits who are at least 347 years old and have done their good and wicked deeds in at least 14 castles are allowed to dance. As soon as the old, crooked spirits have performed the last tripping steps of this dance, the first young spirits scurry over the dance floor and the festival takes its furious course.

3rd movement: A dance, Fräulein Schöngeist? (P.S. Fräulein Schöngeist is the grand cousin of Leonard Bernstein ́s "Waltz")
Ghost damsel Schöngeist from the neighbouring castle has also travelled to this festival. You have to know that she is the shyest ghost girl far and wide, she rarely gets involved in a dance with the boisterous ghostly companions. Today, however, she has discovered a young spirit who can dance the waltz in 6/8, 9/8 and 4/4 time very elegantly and she simply cannot resist his invitation to dance. At the end of the dance, the two blissfully float away into the night for a romantic walk.

4th movement: Happy Hour with hiccups
Exactly at 4:44 a.m. we now invite you to the "Happy Hour" in the castle bar at the end of the festival. There are always a few bottles of this dark pale blue ghost wine, which can very easily lead to hiccups if consumed excessively. Nevertheless, the adolescent ghosts have their jokes once again, the entertainment reaches a climax once again, before the festival with sunrise comes to an abrupt end.
