Additional info/contents Søren Hyldgaard is a Danish film composer, also known for a number of New Age albums. Versatility is the keyword in describing the prolific musical talents of Søren Hyldgaard. He is wearing at least three hats and seems just as comfortable juggling the nuts-and-bolt challenges of composing the seminal epic film score as he is writing for the concert hall — namely symphonic, chamber, concert bands and brass ensembles. Despite his impressive and diverse output, Søren Hyldgaard is basically self-taught in music; a fact that most likely has conveyed the composer's liberal and versatile attitude towards the many styles and genres in contemporary music

Jules Verne, the renowned French author, is widely recognized for his visionary works of science fiction. Although he never specifically wrote about the moon in his novels, he did explore the concept of space travel and adventure in some of his most famous works, such as "From the Earth to the Moon" (De la Terre à la Lune) and its sequel "Around the Moon" (Autour de la Lune).

In "From the Earth to the Moon," published in 1865, Verne envisions a story where a group of American Civil War veterans form the "Baltimore Gun Club" and plan to shoot a massive cannon shell to the moon. Although Verne did not delve deeply into the lunar environment or its exploration, he touched upon the excitement and imagination surrounding the possibility of humans reaching the moon.

In the sequel "Around the Moon," published in 1870, Verne continues the journey of the three astronauts who were launched toward the moon in the first book. The story follows their close encounters with the moon's gravitational pull and their eventual return to Earth.

While Jules Verne's depictions of the moon were more speculative and based on the scientific knowledge of his time, his works laid the foundation for later explorations of space and fueled the imagination of generations of readers and future scientists. His writings served as an inspiration for real-life space exploration, including the Apollo moon missions that took place more than a century after his novels were published.
