Additional info/contents In seiner virtuosen Klavierbearbeitung von Schumanns „Widmung“ („Du meine Seele, du mein Herz“) wendet Franz Liszt das verinnerlichte Lied in ein dramatisches Bekenntnis, das bei „Mein guter Geist, mein bess’res Ich“ mit con somma passione gespielten Akkorden seinen klanggewaltigen Höhepunkt erreicht. Der Melodie ist in Liszts Autograph auch der Liedtext der Vorlage überlegt, den Titel hingegen ändert er zu „Liebeslied“. Die 1848 in Leipzig erschienene Erstausgabe übernimmt dies getreu – weswegen dieselbe Melodie heute unter zwei verschiedenen Titeln bekannt ist. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Liszt-Forscherin Mária Eckhardt legen wir diese bekannteste aller Liszt-Schumann-Bearbeitungen in bewährter Henle-Urtext-Qualität vor.
