Additional info/contents	On the occasion of its 111th anniversary the Pfarreimusik Wünnewil-Flamatt commissioned a new work. They asked the composer to compose a piece that lasts about eleven minutes and eleven seconds. Jan Van der Roost was also asked to present some aspects of the orchestra's history and current events. The piece contains lyrical passages, cheerful and triumphant sections and slightly introverted sequences. Fantasia Helvetica is a varied concert piece with some demanding passages, but above all it is fun to play!
