Additional info/contents	The 11-minute concert work describes the varied and eventful history of a chapel in Tyrol, which has existed for almost a quarter of a millennium since its construction. The music tells of the beginnings of church music, the Tyrolean freedom struggles, the suffering of the world wars, the later economic upswing up to the today's joyful occasion of the 240th anniversary the respective scenes are brought to life by sound. Programme notes *: The piece begins with the quiet main theme. In order to describe the emergence of music in Fulpmes with the help of the Maria Waldrast monastery, I have kept this theme chorale-like, with a few references to church music. After the theme is introduced a second time in a first climax, this first quiet part flows smoothly into the second. This is a cheerful, march-like theme for the setting, march-like theme setting the Tyrolean freedom fights to music. The cheerful melody is meant to express the euphoria of the fighters going into battle. Later, the march turns into a bass solo; here the "war theme" is heard for the first time, which will be heard more often. After the march is heard one more time, the piece moves into the war section. Here the fighters are caught up in the cruel reality. Accordingly, this part is supposed to be dramatic and hectic. This part also stands for the misery of the two world wars and the thoroughly critical time in the community. Suddenly the character of the music of the music changes abruptly. The extent of the destruction and hardship becomes visible and the the mourning over the dead predominates in this lament-like part, which is still based on the war theme. The lively part that follows represents the economic upswing from the second half of the 20th century in tourism and the small iron industry (the anvil can be heard). This part ends abruptly and the opening motif of the chapel is heard again, as an expression of the association's constancy over the centuries and as a return to the long-lived tradition. The piece then moves into the final section, a solemn, majestic fanfare.
