Additional info/contents	The crossing of a mountain pass is called a traversada in Rhaeto-Romanic. Often such a journey and its destination hold many uncertainties and dangers, but also hope and new possibilities. The piece Traversada musically traces such a journey and is based on the Rhaeto-Romanic song S-chüra not, which is about parting and an uncertain return. At the beginning, fragments of the song melody are introduced by several soloists, followed by a dramatic development. After a breakdown, the song melody reappears, now embedded in a quiet, subdued sound field. The last section is marked by a musical build-up, and the song melody appears in new, more light-filled sound spaces.
