Additional info/contents	This piece by Thierry Deleruyelle is based on one of the most influential events in the history of coal mining, the Courrières disaster in northern France. It occurred on 10 March 1906 and is considered the largest mining accident in Europe and the second largest in the world. This work, both emotional and breathtaking, tells of this disaster in seven contrasting sections. Fraternity was a compulsory piece at the European Brass Band Competition 2016 in Lille in the category "Champion" and recalls the catastrophe of Courrières 110 years ago.
