Additional info/contents
Ellis Island, at the mouth of the Hudson River in New York Harbor, was at one time the main entry facility for immigrants entering the United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The traditional lament was arranged for brass band by Robin Dewhurst as part of his suite 'Celtic Fusions', that was premiered during the Gala Concert of The European Brass Band Championships 2004 in Glasgow.
