Additional info/contents	This lively movement, without percussion, is a full band version of the Scherzo for brass quartet of 1937. Heaton revised the main section as the brief original Scherzo of Suite for brass band (1947), and this has been used in its entirety together with a full scoring of the hymn like Trio section to create a concert piece similar in design to Toccata.
