Additional info/contents	"Crescent Moon" is a festive overture written by Jan Van der Roost for a Japanese wind orchestra. The piece begins slowly in the middle register, but gradually becomes brighter and more radiant - just as the rising moon illuminates the night sky. After this rather majestic introduction, a virtuoso Allegro emerges, bringing technical finesse to all registers. Finally the piece culminates in an atmosphere of joy and optimism.
