Additional info/contents	During the performance of the "Cottbuser Horntage", music-making in groups, especially in a quartet, was cultivated and the performers expressed their wish for worn pieces. In the course of several years he has composed arrangements of well-known pieces for the quartet, which bring the sound of the French horn to the listener in a completely different way. Be it Beethoven, Bruckner or Lenin's favourite song "Gemartert zu Todde im Kerker" ("Martyred to death in the dungeon"), the listener can always be convinced of the beauty of the sound of the French horn. I have tried to exhaust the range of the instrument without going into extreme heights, but often into the depths. I wish all performers of these pieces much joy and fun in rehearsing and performing these horn quartet arrangements.
