Additional info/contents	The woodwind quintet was composed for a concert tour of what was called, at the time of composition, the Eastern Block. The first performance was in Prague in the Spring of 1990. The individual movements carry very personal dedications. Each movement is 'inspired' by the works of other composers: Shostakovich, Milhaud and David Del Tredici.
