Composer Ewazen, Eric
Additional info/contents Ewazen's first flute quartet was composed for Femme Flutale and premiered at the 2008 Mid Atlantic Flute Fair. The four movements were inspired by a trip to the Freer Gallery in Washington, DC, and, specifically, Whistler's Peacock Room - a true harmony in blue porcelain and gold murals. Each of the diverse movements fully involves all four performers in Ewazen's signature melodic style. For advanced performers.
