Additional info/contents	'Duo Rhythmikosmos is in three movements. The first begins slowly and then builds up in speed and intensity before ending quietly. The last two movements are played without pause. The descriptive title 'rhythmikosmos' refers first to the schemes in which rhythmic figures are treated as themes and motives. They are then varied, developed, counterpointed, and included in cadence formulas. The 'kosmos' part of the title refers not only to this harmony of rhythms, but also to the universe of the mind as we create and experience expression through the senses. The music then can be thought of as a kind of emotional tone painting.'
