Additional info/contents The Camelot Chronicles consists of a series of musical images, each describing a character from Arthurian legend. No one knows exactly where the castle of Camelot once stood, where King Arthur gathered his knights around the Round Table, but the legend still fascinates people today.
I."At the Castle Gates" is a picture of Camelot itself.
II. "King Arthur" describes his majestic arrival at the castle.
III. "Merlin the Wizard" is spooky in mood and describes one of his mischievous spells.
IV. "Lancelot and Guinevere" is a romantic duet which describes the knight's noble love for the queen.
V. "Knights of the Round Table" conjures up their gallop into battle to end the piece in triumph.

"The Camelot Chronicles" was commissioned by the Canarelli Middle School Band, Clark Country, Nevada, and was premiered on March 2007.
