Additional info/contents	The Belgian piano virtuoso and composer François Glorieux (Kortrijk, 1932) enjoyed a long international career as a soloist and conductor. As a composer and arranger he has worked, among others, with Stan Kenton and with the London ensemble 'Locke Brass Consort'. With the latter ensemble he has recorded various of his compositions on record, as well as with his own orchestra 'The François Glorieux Brass and Percussion Orchestra'. His former student, the trumpeter and conductor Paul Voet, made a nice brass band arrangement of these 'travel memories'. Definitely a beautiful and original concert piece for brass band.
