Additional info/contents According to Gerald Zampino, principal clarinetist with the Syracuse (NY) Symphony from 1962 to 1998, this solo-with-piano original is a rarity in the repertoire for intermediate clarinetists. The five short, cohesive movements it features form an engaging and tasteful recital set, while providing excellent material for teaching the essentials of solid performance - lyricism, technical dexterity, articulation and style. The total duration is under four minutes, making it an ideal showcase for contests and auditions.
