Additional info/contents Three "Danzas Populares" in a concert work. This composition consists of thematic material of the Valencian popular music and especially the music which comes from the city Llanera. It draws mainly on the variety of dances, religious music with his typical aurora (dawn), fragments from a local hymn and the poetry of the Mediterranean music. We find characteristic twists place with rare concatenated harmonic combinations in a typical timbre, with contrasting themes occurring between different groups of instruments of the orchestra. The musical work is primarily intended as music for the village.
