The piece Derrière le miroir (Behind the mirror) solemnly begins with sounding bells played by the different brass instruments; varying sound colours, rhythmic motives and dynamic effects based on mirror chords and prime numbers. The melodic lines and solos of the middle section lend the work a majestic character before the bells again make their presence known and close the mirror... Cette oeuvre, basée sur des accords en miroir et les nombres premiers, débute solennellement par un son de cloches, réalisé par les différents instruments de cuivres qui varient les couleurs, les motifs rythmiques et les effets de nuances.
