Additional info/contents	'Four Sketches' für Blechbläserquintett (Fassung 1989) wurde von Mel Jernigan und dem St. Louis Brass Quintet (USA) bestellt. Nach der Uraufführung von 1988 in St. Louis wurde das Werk vom Komponisten vollständig überarbeitet. Ausser dem dritten lyrischen Satz, ist das Stück sehr rhythmisch und schöpft sämtliche Ressourcen der verschiedenen Instrumente mit einem breiten Klangfarben- und Klangeigenschaften-Spektrum oder in ausdrucksvollen Dissonanzen aus. 'Four Sketches' for brass quintet (version 1989) was commissioned by Mel Jernigan and the St. Louis Brass Quintet (USA) and has undergone almost a complete metamorphosis since its premiere in St. Louis in 1988. With the exception of the lyrical third movement, the piece is fairly rhythmic, taking advantage of the capabilities of each instrument for a wide timbral and sound spectrum or expressive dissonances. 'Four Sketches' pour quintette de cuivres (version 1989) a été commandé par Mel Jernigan et le St. Louis Brass Quintet (USA). Après sa création à St. Louis en 1988, le compositeur a complètement révisé cette oeuvre pour lui donner sa forme actuelle. A l'exception du 3e mouvement très lyrique, l'oeuvre est richement rythmée et exploite toutes les resources des différents instruments, que ce soit au niveau des timbres et des sonorités ou au niveau de dissonances expressives.
