Jht.' - bezeichnet ein eher kontemplatives und elegisches Werk in Form eines gespannten Bogens, dessen Esthetik und Syntaxe - tonal und modal - es eher zeitlos situieren. 2 3 Die Terzbewegungen spielen eine entscheidende Rolle, sei es, bei den Geigen, in Form einer Girlande langsamer paralleler und regelmässiger Achtel (welche die Essenz des Werkes bilden) - oder in den tonalen Beziehungen zwischen den verschiedenen Episoden. 4 5 Um das instrumentale Gleichgewicht zwischen Solisten und Tuttis zu gewähren, ist die minimal erforderliche Besetzung folgend: 4, 4, 3, 3, 1. 6 7 Jean Balissat

The title, with its 'end of 19th c.' connotation, indicates a rather contemplative and elegiac piece, in form of an arch, with an esthetic and syntax - tonal and modal - which places it slightly out of its time. 2 3 The movement of thirds plays a predominant role, being in the form of a slow garland of parallel and straight eighth notes on the violins (which constitutes the essence of the work) or within the tonal relations among the different episodes. 4 5 6 To insure for the instrumental balances between the soloists and tuttis, the required minimum instrumentation for this work is: 4, 4, 3, 3, 1. 7 8 Jean Balissat

D'une connotation très 'fin XIXe', le titre (Rêverie) désigne un morceau plutôt contemplatif et élégiaque, en forme d'arche, que l'esthétique et la syntaxe - tonale et modale - situent un peu hors du temps. 2 3 Le jeu des tierces y joue un rôle prépondérant, que ce soit sous la forme d'une guirlande lente de croches parallèles et régulières, aux violons, qui constituent le fil conducteur du morceau, ou dans les relations tonales entre les divers épisodes. 4 5 Pour respecter la distribution instrumentale entre solistes et tutti, l'effectif minimal requis pour cette pièce est: 4, 4, 3, 3, 1. 6 7 Jean Balissat
