Additional info/contents	Am Internationalen Trompetenwettbewerb von Navajas (Castellón, Spanien) hatte ich das Glück, Guy Touvron, den grossen französischen Trompeten- Solisten kennenzulernen und mit ihm zu arbeiten. Dieses Werk ist ihm gewidmet. Die Instrumentation , konzipiert für Kammermusik, verlangt jedoch ein umfangreiches Streichorchester, um einen gewissen Ausgleich zwischen der Trompete und den Streichern zu garantieren. In die Struktur habe ich einige klassische Reminiszenzen eingebaut, vor allem im ersten Satz, wo das Thema schon im ersten Takt eingeführt wird. Im zweiten Satz habe ich zum wesentlichen eine polytonale Sprache gebraucht, um eine subtile und ätherische Stimmung zu gestalten. Der Schlussatz ist ein Molto Allegro von gehobener Lebhaftigkeit, die virtuosen Ressourcen der Trompete hevorhebend. Andrés Valero Castells During the International Trumpet Workshop at Navajas (Castellon, Spain) I had the pleasure of meeting Guy Touvron, the great French trumpet virtuoso, with whom I've also studied. This work is dedicated to him. The work is conceived as chamber music, but it requires nevertheless a full string orchestra in order to guarantee the tonal balance between the trumpet and the strings. Structurally, I've introduced some classical reminiscences, especially in the first movement, where the theme of the whole movement is contained in the first measure. In the second movement I use mainly a polytonal approach in order to create a subtle and ethereal atmosphere. The last movement is a Molto vivacious Allegro throughout that exploits the virtuostic resources of the trumpet. Andrés Valero Castells Lors des Cours Internationaux de Trompette de Navajas (Castellón, Espagne), j'ai eu le plaisir de faire la connaissance de Guy Touvron, le grand virtuose français de la trompette, avec lequel j'ai également travaillé. Cette oeuvre lui est dédiée. L'instrumentation, bien conçue comme musique de chambre, exige néanmoins un orchestre à cordes étoffé, afin de garantir un certain équilibre sonore entre la trompette et les cordes. Au niveau structurel j'ai introduit certaines réminiscences classiques, surtout dans le premier mouvement, où le thème de tout le mouvement se dessine dès la première mesure. Dans le deuxième mouvement j'utilise essentiellement un langage polytonal afin de créer une ambiance éthérée et subtile. Le mouvement final est un Molto Allegro d'une vivacité soutenue mettant en évicence les ressources virtuoses de la trompette. Andrés Valero Castells Gewicht: 0.147
