Additional info/contents	Stanfare für 8 Trompeten und Pauken wurde im July/August 1996 zur Investitur von R. Stanton Hales als 10. Präsident des College of Wooster, Ohio, komponiert. Gedacht als festlich/zeremonielles Werk, wurde es an der Einweihungsfeier am 7. September 1996 von einem Wooster Studenten-Ensemble und der Leitung des Komponisten uraufgeführt. Stanfare, for eight trumpets and timpani, was composed in July and August of 1996 for the investiture of R. Stanton Hales as Tenth President of The College of Wooster, Ohio. Intended as a festive and celebratory work, it was performed at the inauguration ceremony on 7 September 1996 by an ensemble of Wooster students under the direction of the composer. Cast in three-part form, the work consists of a lively overture surrounded by a ceremonial fanfare and coda.
