Additional info/contents	Die Inspirationsquelle dieser Tänze für Tuba und Klavier (oder Akkordeon - TU177) ist die Volksmusik des Balkans mit ihren einzigartigen Farben: der Lebendigkeit, der zusammengesetzten Rhythmen, aber auch der Melancholie und der Nostalgie. In drei tonalen Sätzen werden die technischen und lyrischen Ressourcen der Tuba ausgeschöpft. Im dritten Satz gibt es auch Multiphonics, Doppelklänge erzeugt durch ins Instrument gesungene und gespielte Töne. Uraufgeführt wurde das Werk im Oktober 2011 am Internationalen Akkordeon Festival 'Acordeões do Mundo' à Torres Verdas, in Portugal. These dances for tuba and piano (or accordion, ref. TU177) are inspired by the unique atmosphere of Balkan popular music, namely its lively nature, use of compound rhythms as well as the melancholic and nostalgic character. In three tonal movements, the dances highlight both the technical and lyrical qualities of the tuba. The third movement incorporates 'multiphonics'. The premiere was at the International Accordion Festival 'Acordeões do Mundo' Torres Verdas, Portugal, in October 2011. Ces danses pour tuba et piano (ou accordéon, réf. 177) s'inspirent des musiques populaires des Balkans. On y retrouve les ambiances si particulières de ces musiques, soit la vivacité, les rythmes composés, mais également la mélancolie et le caractère plaintif. Ecrite en trois mouvements dans un langage tonal, cette pièce n'hésite pas à souligner les qualités techniques et lyriques du tuba, en y incluant notamment au début du troisième mouvement des 'multiphoniques', doubles sons réalisés en jouant et en chantant dans l'instrument. Cette pièce a été créée en octobre 2011 à l'occasion du festival international d'accordéon 'Acordeões do Mundo' à Torres Verdas, Portugal. Gewicht: 0.13
