Er hat sie 1998 an der International Tuba/Euphonium Conference in Minnesota (USA) uraufgeführt und dann in Finnland, Island, den USA und weiteren Ländern gespielt. Das Stück ist eine Kontraststudie, hier zwischen der Tuba und ihrem Hauptthema und dem Lyrismus des Klaviers, dessen reichhaltige Klangfarben interaktiv die Ressourcen des machtvollen Tubaklangs hervorheben. Vartan Adjemian, Yerewan, Armenien, 2008 The Fantasia was written in 1996 for the renowned Finnish tuba virtuoso, Harri Lidsle, who played the first performance of the work during the 1998 International Tuba/Euphonium Conference in Minnesota (USA), followed by numerous other performances in Finland, USA, Iceland and various other countries. The piece is a study in contrasts, in this case the contrasts between the tuba, with its main theme, and the piano's lyric and colorful materials which interact directly with the tuba's sturdy sound. La pièce est une étude de contrastes, dans ce cas particulier entre le tuba avec son thème principal et le lyrisme du piano, dont les riches coloris soulignent interactivement et très directement les ressources vigoureuses du son du tuba.
