O Come and Dwell in Me wurde im Gedenken an Robin Sullivan geschrieben.
Joseph Turrin, November 2010, Clifton, USA
O Come and Dwell In Me was written in memory of Robin Sullivan in 2006. Robin was the wife of Robert Sullivan, Assistant Principal Trumpet in the New York Philharmonic for many years.
The work was premiered in Nyack, New York at a memorial service for Robin Sullivan. Performed by Philip Smith, Principal Trumpet and Joseph Alessi, Principal Trombone - both of the New York Philharmonic. At the piano was composer Joseph Turrin. The title of the piece comes from the hymn tune by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). Musically this composition has no relation to the hymn itself except in the fact that it served as an inspiration.

O Come and Dwell In Me a été écrit en 2006 à la mémoire de Robin Sullivan.
Joseph Turrin, novembre 2010, Clifton, Etats-Unis
