Additional info/contents	Albinoni's "C major Sonata" was unpublished in the Austrian National Library until 1968. The work, composed in the style of the four-movement "sonata da chiesa", gives the soloist room to unfold in the fast movements, with the second movement reminiscent of Charpentier's famous "Triumphal March". In the two slow movements the trumpet is silent, as was quite common in Italian trumpet sonatas of the 17th century.
