Composer Thingnaes, Frode
Additional info/contents This playing with William Shakespeares most famous quotation from the play 'Hamlet': 'To be or not to be, that is the question' is done in pure love and admiration. Frode Thingnaes has many times been inspired by his lyrics to write music (Not necessarily this time.) This tuba-solo starts out in a humorous and burlesque style, and going straight into a jazz waltz. After a cadenza with an accellerando in the end, it goes back to the first theme and keeps up the tempo to the last bar.
