Additional info/contents	The piece of music deals with the first attempts to fly by a young eagle. Starting from the eagle's nest, the beginning of the piece offers a breathtaking view of a mountain panorama. The young eagle soon feels the urge to fly and prepares for his first jump into nowhere... The play, as already indicated in the title, is about the first attempts at flight, namely those of a young eagle. At first, one enjoys the spectacular view from the eagle's nest, the gaze sweeping over the breathtaking mountain panorama. But soon the young eagle gets an itch in his wings and prepares for his leap into the void. Already he is flying through the air at breakneck speed, the up and down winds controlling his still somewhat awkward movements... but that doesn't detract from the fun. With time and practice, however, the eagle's skills get better and better, until in the calm middle section he finally glides majestically over mountains and alpine pastures in his usual eagle manner. But the calm is short-lived: a thunderstorm announces itself with a distant rumble of thunder. It doesn't take long before the storm arrives with full force and causes our eagle a lot of trouble. He struggles through the rain and wind until the sun finally breaks through the clouds. The thunderstorm disappears as quickly as it came and in the last part our friend flies elegantly and sublimely into the evening sun, straight towards his next adventure...
